Breast Cancer Simulation Modeling 
Medical Decision Making (MDM) just published a special issue about Breast Cancer Simulation Modeling – a very relevant topic for EU-TOPIA, as one of the main objectives is to develop and validate innovative dedicated microsimulation models of the natural history of the three cancers for the evaluation of screening, tailored specifically to the different countries in Europe.
This special issue of MDM comprises papers – among others – on the Cancer Intervention and Surveillance Network (CISNET) collaborative modeling approach, the impact of risk-based screening, and the modeling of DCIS.

MDM is a peer-reviewed journal published 8 times a year offering rigorous and systematic approaches to decision making that are designed to improve the health and clinical care of individuals and to assist with health policy development.
The project was launched in September 2015 and will continue to August 2020.
