WP7 – Road Maps

The predicted impact of each of the changes in quality indicators and/or screening strategy on the health outcomes and cost-effectiveness of the cancer screening programmes will be combined with the results of the barrier analysis. In workshop 4, road maps for each country will be designed that include a description of the current situation with regard to harms and benefits, identified targets of improvement, country- or region-specific barriers to changing screening programmes, a proposal of feasible adjustments to screening per country, and the expected gain in health outcomes of the changes. Based on experiences in the networks, contacts in the respective countries, and analyses of the barriers, indicators and their respective effects, a road map for more optimal situation will be established.

The project was launched in September 2015 and will continue to August 2020.

This project has received funding from the European Unionʼs Horizon2020 Programme under grant agreement no 634753
